Buying or Commissioning an Original Painting

Every painting on this site is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone. Here's exactly what happens if you want one, whether that's a piece you've already fallen for in the gallery or a commission built around your space.

Buying an available piece

Find a piece in the gallery that speaks to you, and reach out through the contact page to ask about availability. Not sure how it'll actually look on your wall? Send a photo of the space and I'll place the painting into it digitally, free, so you can see it before you commit. Once you're ready to move forward, I'll walk you through payment and shipping or local pickup.

Commissioning a piece

If nothing currently available is quite right, a commission lets the piece start with your space instead of the other way around. We'll talk through the room, the palette, and the feeling you want the piece to carry — then I paint. Commissions are collaborative but not a design-by-committee process: you'll see progress along the way, but the goal is still a piece that holds up the way my other work does, not a custom order to spec.

Typical timeline is 2 months, and requires a 50% deposit which pays for materials.

Paintings currently range from 14x14 to 48x72 inches. Pricing depends on size and complexity.

Shipping & delivery

Every piece is carefully packed and shipped, wherever you are, collectors across the U.S. and internationally have work hanging in their homes, and shipping is handled with the same care as the painting itself. If you're local to the South Bay, you're also welcome to skip shipping altogether and pick your piece up directly from the studio in Manhattan Beach.
